look up, down, don't be afraid to get dirty and wet, as long as it's not the camera. these images are simple snapshots, moments I chose to stop on a walk, a hike, or a meander. they are an acknowledgment of the delicate and often overlooked parts of nature. through capturing the simple movement of a wave or curiously peering to the crevices of an archaic rock formation, the perspective i have comes from negotiating the world at a pace that is significantly slower than most other folk. from a very personal level, it brings a me greater appreciation and understanding of the environment.
