the history of the pigeon is a complex and convoluted, much like human history. their outward physical appearances can be viewed as a reflection of the humans who share the geographical space. a pigeon's well-being is connected to the importance that is placed on their place within the ecosystem of the dominant species. this is an 8-year work in progress begun in Japan, continuing onto the streets of Nepal, Hawaii, and the greater Bay Area.
